MISSION STATEMENT: 

The Arizona Consortium for Children with Chronic Illness (ACCCI) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for chronically ill children and their families through advocacy and education.  The principal goal of ACCCI is to achieve a coordinated, comprehensive, and responsive service delivery system that has the ability to meet the medical, educational, social, financial and emotional needs of the child and the family.

HOW CAN I HELP

Children with chronic illness or disabilities may have different diagnoses, but their families share many of the same challenges and needs.  Through donations  ACCCI continues to offer the following individual advocacy services:
  • Advocacy for the improvement and provision of services through state-funded programs

  • Guidance with transition in the medical, educational, and vocational arenas

  • Special education advocacy

  • Financial assistance to individual families in crisis

  • Advocacy in the foster care and adoptive arenas

  • Promotion of inclusive day care settings

  • Assistance in applying for state-funded resources

  • Guidance to families moving to Arizona from another state
